First Wednesdays are another opportunity during the week to center in on the Lord and be in His presence together, with an extended time of prayer and worship. Everyone is welcome, from kids to adults!
We believe that baptisms are an outward expression of an inward decision to follow Christ. We host baptisms three to four times a year and believe this is a very important step for every Christian. Baptism in water is when we share with our family and friends that we are following Christ and take our faith public!

Pastor Jay is bringing a powerful word and we're gonna have some friendly competition, along with some food and good times. Be sure to bring your Bible, a notebook, and a couple of friends!
Meet us for a Block Girl walk where we walk and talk and get to know each other! On September 12 at 10 AM, we will be meeting at Kelly Drive (1 Boathouse Row, Philadelphia, PA 19130). Bring snacks and a picnic blanket since we'll close out our walk with a picnic. We can't wait to connect and see you there!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our Northwest Location will be meeting ONLY on September 12th at Higher Ground International (7860 Eva St, Philadelphia, PA 19128). We'll have a pizza party with water ice after service, Pastor Joey will be preaching in-person, and it'll be a party! We'll also have a free parking lot and The Block Kids available. Our Northwest Location will NOT be meeting on September 13th at our typical location (4101 Freeland Ave).
All other locations will be meeting at our normal locations and service times on September 13th!

Here at The Block Church, we value being able to serve our communities. We are excited about Serve Saturdays! The last Saturday of every month, each of our locations will be volunteering to serve one of our community partners. We will do mobile food banks to serve our city.
